EVALUATE AND SELECT IDEAS

Learn
After generating options or ideas, the next step involve is evaluating and selecting the ideas that could solve the real problem. In evaluating and selecting the ideas, one of the common criteria used is called the Big-Picture Criteria.

BIG PICTURE CRITERIA
We could adopt the Big-Picture Criteria to select the best possible strategic idea.
The idea must be simple
The idea must support the overall business strategy
The idea must be distinctly new and better
The idea must be proven
The idea must be profitable
The idea must be quickly implemented

Unlearn
By following the big picture criteria it provides a platform or guideline to evaluate criteria in a fast a systematic manner. Adopting Big-Picture Criteria will ease the process of evaluating and selecting the best possible ideas.

Relearn
Another important step in evaluating and selecting is gathering research data. By performing this step, it helps to reinforce the feasibility of the ideas as research have been proven or shown that a particular trend, technique or technology has been adopted and prove to work.
