I learned about asking hypothetical questions during the 3 days HR workshop.
Unlearn
I used to believe that hypothetical questions would not be true scenarios and thus should not be asked during interview.
Relearn
I know understand that by asking hypothetical questions it would give us an idea what the interviewee would do if such an occasion occurs in real life. Moreover it would allow us to analyze interview critical thinking ability. An e.g of hypothetical question would be
Sometimes team gets off track when working toward a specific project or goal. Explain to me what would you do to get the team back on track?
