During the class I learned that to identify or solve a strategic issue we need to ask WHY? to identify the root cause of the problem.
Unlearn
To my surprise, I realized that this technique does not only apply to Strategic Planning but also to Resolve Conflicts. Just two days ago I was approached by my team members who brought up a conflict. I applied this new technique I had learned.
Relearn
I was amazed that by drilling down my team members with the question WHY? it helps them to realize and identify the root cause of the conflict. In the end conflict was resolved.
